1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website may store in your browser to retain information about a session, settings or website use. Similar technologies, such as local storage or technical identifiers, may perform related functions.
2. How Danex uses cookies
Danex aims to use cookies only when necessary for website operation, security, remembering preferences or measuring performance.
The website is a B2B presentation website, without user accounts or an online shop. Its architecture therefore allows a much simpler configuration than a transactional website.

4. Consent and preferences
Strictly necessary cookies may operate without consent where they are indispensable to providing the service requested by the user. For non-essential cookies, Danex will request consent before activation where required by law.
At launch, the website is configured without non-essential cookies activated by Danex, so a separate preference panel is not required. If we later introduce services that require consent, we will provide a mechanism through which choices can be clearly given, changed or withdrawn.
5. Third-party services
Website infrastructure may include technical providers for hosting, content delivery, security or performance measurement. The exact list of services and identifiers used will be reviewed in the final build and reflected in the consent mechanism and this policy before any non-essential technologies are activated.
Danex will not assume that a technology is “cookie-free” based solely on the service name; the actual configuration will be checked before go-live.
6. How long cookies remain active
Duration depends on the type of cookie. Session cookies are generally deleted when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain until their set expiry date or until deleted by the user.
For cookies actually used, the preference panel will display, where possible, the provider, purpose and duration.
7. How you can control cookies
You can use browser settings to accept, refuse or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies at browser level may affect certain technical functions.
Settings differ between browsers; consult the privacy or cookie sections of the browser you use.
8. Privacy signals
Some browsers may send signals such as “Do Not Track” or other privacy preferences. How these are interpreted depends on the technologies and standards supported by the website and its providers. Danex will avoid using tracking mechanisms that are incompatible with the choices expressed by the user.
9. Updating this policy
This policy will be reviewed whenever services that store or access information on the user's device are introduced or removed. The update date at the top of the page indicates the current version.
